The gorgeous Karen!
Karen Christensen is the creative mind behind The Legacy Boutique which brings together photography and women’s empowerment. In addition to photographing moms, brides, celebrities, CEOs and world record athletes, she’s also photographed for the powerful Women’s campaign BodyHeart.org. With plenty of experience being in front of the camera, as a former model and actress, she is now is an incredible photographer and beautiful artist. And there’s more! Karen is also a motivational speaker and mentor, she wants to ”improve the Self-Esteem and financial Self-Sustainability of Women and Girls, both in front and behind the lens”.
She is helping women “become the one you’ve been waiting for“.
Being an artist and activist, she has been promoting Art as Activism through “monetary and talent donations to local and global NGOs”. Her passion to raise the self-esteem and quality of life for females all over the world is inspiring! One of her newest blogs, The Girl Effect, deals with the hard facts of things girls go through in other countries such as human trafficking; ”80 percent of the 800,000 people trafficked annually are girls“. She goes on to say that though some of us got lucky based on where we were born, the one thing we all have in common is hope. Beautiful!
She has been ~IngTERVIEWed by the awesome Gabrielle Bernstein site, Her Future and has been featured in their, “Blogs We Dig“. And this is how I know Karen. Not long after I did my ~IngTERVIEW, I got an email out of the blue from Karen, followed by a phone call where I felt like I found a long lost sister! I am so lucky that she found me! What luck!
We have so much in common and can’t wait to collaborate on projects! I feel like we are at the beginning of an amazing friendship!
